A vibrant village rich in history and natural beauty

Jaclupan is nestled in the picturesque ​Cebu province in the Philippines, is a ​vibrant village with a rich history and ​natural beauty. Bounded by the City of ​Cebu, Barangay Camp 4, Barangay Tapul, ​and Barangays Maghaway, Lagtang, and ​Candulawan, Jaclupan covers a sprawling ​land area of 1,404 hectares, making it the ​largest mountainous barangay within the ​City of Talisay.


Established in 1946, Jaclupan has a ​compelling history rooted in its name. The ​term "Jaclupan" is derived from the word ​"hakopan," signifying a place abundant ​with medicinal plants that were not only ​utilized by the local residents but also ​attracted people from neighboring areas.

Jaclupan is a barangay in the city of Talisay, in the ​province of Cebu. Its population as determined by the ​2020 Census was 10,934. This represented 4.16% of the ​total population of Talisay.
